Happy Valentine's Day!

Someone reminded me that we are behind on blogging, so here I am. What's happening with us?

Micah has been counting down, for weeks now, for tomorrow morning when he leaves for Snow Blast in Remer WI. This is an annual trip for The Well, his junior high youth group. He says the bus ride is the best part - the part that sounds like the worst part to me. Last year he lost a pair of shoes, temporarily, and some randon clothing items. He's going to bring an alarm clock (evidentially this is a unique idea) so after they stay up to all hours of the morning, they can get up early to hang out, not shower or anything, just hang out. I just hope he gets some sleep and learns something, preferrably about God.

Grace is so excited for Valentines Day. Yesterday she had a party at Gramma Wilson's and brought cupcakes with red frosting that doesn't wash off easily at all. Today we brought valentines for her whole class at UMD and she brought 'Smoochy Poochy,' her valentines gift from us, to sleep with during nap time. It may be a loud, long nap time as Smoochy Poochie actually makes smoochy kissing noises.

I don't know what we are doing tonight, something as a family, maybe grab an early meal to beat the crowds, and besides - we would be in a family friendly restaurant, not a fancy schmancy place. Micheal is taking me to the Celtic Women for Valentine's Day. I don't even know what day that is, but he has arranged for a babysitter and everything! What a fun gift, and something I wouldn't have sprung for myself, or asked him to go along! (Love you, honey! You're so thoughtful!)

And this Sunday is the Daytona 500, which means we will be having the annual Daytona party at the Wilson's Soothing Beverage Center. Prerace stuff (whatever that is) and the race starts at 2-something. Come on over and bring something to share!

Remember to kiss your sweetie today! :O)

1st Haircut!

Grace had her first real haircut last week.
She wasn't very happy about it,
but Micheal & I got sick of the fight each morning.
She ended up sitting on Micheal's lap,
each with their own purple cape.

Grace kept feeling her hair
and wanted to know if it was growing yet!

Micah was the photographer,
and made sure we told him how much we like
his haircut, too!
